Conditions of Booking
1. Bookings made through our online booking system are provisional until confirmed by us. A deposit equivalent to 20% of the full cost of your holiday cottage is payable at the time of booking. Once the booking has been confirmed and our receipt issued, the deposit may not be refunded should you subsequently cancel or fail to comply with condition 2.
2. The balance of the monies must be received at least 8 weeks before the date on which the holiday is due to start. If the booking is made within 8 weeks of arrival, then full payment should be made at the time of booking. Failure to comply with this condition may result in the loss of your holiday.
3. It is strongly recommended that you take out holiday insurance. Deposits are not refundable. If you do have to cancel your holiday in good time, we will endeavour to re-let your holiday cottage. If we are successful then we will be able to refund the balance payment to you. If we are unable to re-let your cottage, you will be liable for the final balance in full.
4. Bucks Farm reserves the right to refuse any booking application, or to refuse or terminate accommodation at their absolute discretion.
5. Booking from all male or all female parties will only be allowed at the discretion of the owners.
6. Bucks Farm cannot be held liable in the event that accommodation or advertised facilities shall not be available due to circumstances beyond their control.
7. Under no circumstances should cottages be occupied by more than the number for which the accommodation is intended and advertised.
8. On the day of arrival, your cottage is booked from 3.30pm. On the day of departure all accommodation is to be vacated by 10:00am please.
9. Bucks Farm indoor pool & leisure facilities are for the use of guests staying at the cottages (and club members at specified times). Other family and friends of guests staying in cottages at Bucks Farm may visit and use the pool etc. by prior arrangement with the owners. A small charge of £10 per visit per person will be applied where additional family & friends wish to use the swimming pool & other facilities.
10. Pets are welcome in all the cottages. Where pets are brought you must abide by the following rules please:
- Pets are not allowed in the bedrooms or on the furniture.
- Pets should not be left unattended in the cottages except when you are using the swimming pool here on site.
- Pets must be kept under control, so as not to cause a nuisance to other guests or upset the livestock.
- Pets should be exercised in the fields surrounding the farm rather than the farmyard. They are free to run off the lead in the fields where sheep/cattle are not grazing, but must always be kept on a lead in the main farmyard and around the cottages.
- You must always clear up after your dog please.
- Bucks Farm is not responsible for any incidents or injuries caused by your pet/pets.
- Should your pet/pets damage any item in the cottage or any fixtures or fittings, you will be liable for the full replacement cost of that item.
11. Bucks Farm is in no way responsible for loss or damage of your property however caused whilst you are here. It is recommended that you insure your personal effects, clothing and cash in the normal way before coming on your holiday.
12. You are required to leave the cottage/cottages in the same clean and tidy state they were in upon your arrival. Additional cleaning charges may be made where a cottage/cottages are left in an unacceptable condition. This is to pay for additional cleaning hours needed to return the cottage to a clean state for the next guests.
13. Accidents do happen ! We understand. Please do report any loss or breakages before your departure so that we can organise replacements. In the case of large breakages we may ask for a contribution for the replacement.
14. And finally, we want all our guests to have a wonderful, relaxing holiday at Bucks Farm. If for any reason this is not the case, please let us know as soon as you can, so we can address any issues immediately. However, if you've enjoyed your stay - please tell ALL your friends and family and come back to see us again soon!

The information you give us may include your name, address, e-mail address and phone number, date of birth, financial information; personal description; dietary requirements; medical conditions; allergies; dependants personal information.

With regard to visits to our site we may automatically collect the following information:

We may receive information about you from third parties such as online travel agents or booking engines. When that data is collected from you, you should be informed by those third parties at that stage that it may be shared internally by us and combined with data collected from multiple sources.
We also work with third parties (including, for example, business partners, sub-contractors in technical, payment and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers, credit reference agencies) and may receive information about you from them.
We also receive information about you from cookies.
Uses made of the information
We use information held about you in the following ways:
Information you give to us.
We will use this information to:
· notify you about changes to our service;
· ensure that content from our site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your device.
Where you have indicated to us that you are happy for us to do so, we may also use this information to:
· provide you with information about other services we offer that are similar to those that you have already enquired about or receive from us; and
· provide you, or permit selected third parties to provide you, with information about goods or services we feel may interest you. We will disclose your personal information to third parties:
· in the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets;
We are a member of Premier Cottages, a professional collective of independent luxury cottage owners. Premier Cottages promotes properties on our behalf as well as other luxury cottages. As members of Premier Cottages we would like to give them your information so that they can contact you about other quality properties that you might like. You may unsubscribe from this service at any time.
Where we store your personal data
All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers or on secure servers operated by a third party. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will ask for your permission before collecting your data if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. We will not store your data for any longer than is necessary. If you are a user of our services, then your information will be held for as long as you continue to use our services.
If you cease to use our services, your personal data will be anonymised for statistical purposes shortly after you stop using our services.
