Set on a quiet country lane, with private tree-lined drive, Bucks Farm is perfect for those who like their self-catering holidays just a little off the beaten track, offering beautiful farm stay family holidays in Suffolk. Whether you're planning a family-friendly holiday or a quiet getaway, we have five good-sized cottages available for short breaks or longer stays, with facilities including an indoor swimming pool, our farm animals to feed, and EV Charging on-site. Our farm cottages in Suffolk provide a perfect retreat in the countryside while also being close to the coast.

We have a great selection of all weather activities for you and the family to enjoy.........
How many holiday cottages come with indoor swimming pool? Ours do! The pool hall opens out to a small sun terrace and the heating is set to a constant 31oC, so it's comfortable for all weathers. We also have a well-equipped gym and infra-red sauna available for our adult guests.
Join in with feeding our farm animals including our pet sheep, goats, ponies, guinea pigs, rabbits and chickens, or take a walk through some of the 60 acres of our own farm land. There’s plenty of space and activities to keep children entertained, including a trampoline, adventure playframe, bikes and ride-on toys. When the weather is less than perfect, our indoor games room is packed with toys, games, books and TV and DVD player.

When you are ready to explore further, the farm is only ten miles from a wonderful stretch of Suffolk coastline that includes the towns & beaches of Southwold, Walberswick, Dunwich & Aldeburgh, as well as Minsmere RSPB Nature Reserve. Or enjoy a visit to Snape Maltings for music events, antiques, shopping, or simply walking along the boardwalks through the salt marshes, after a drink or a meal in one of the cafe's and restaurants.

Family holidays in Suffolk mean lots of opportunity for excitement, at a number of nearby animal and activity parks, such as Bewilderwood and Africa Alive amongst others. The medieval castles are also great fun for a visit - either to the coast at Orford - or head inland to the pretty market town of Framlingham to see Ed Sheeran's 'Castle on the Hill' and enjoy the activities during key holidays.

Despite feeling we're in the middle of nowhere - Bucks Farm is just two miles from the market town of Halesworth, with lots of independent shops, pubs, coffee shops, restaurants, and large supermarket, as well as regular local produce markets. There's also 'The Cut' Arts Centre, and mainline railway service via Ipswich connecting to London Liverpool Street station. For family holiday cottages in Suffolk, Bucks Farm is the place to be!

We're delighted to announce the arrival of our new EV Chargers located in the main car park to be easily accessible. Simply use the QR code on either unit to access the 'Fuuse' App, hook up your own cable, and get charging !
We are also pleased to confirm that Bucks Farm has been accredited as 'AA COVID-19 confident' - an official certification recognising the safety measures we're following to keep our guests and staff as safe as possible.
