Swimming Pool & Gym
Our lovely indoor heated pool is available all year round for our cottage guests to enjoy, with dedicated session times being allocated per cottage.
The Gym is free for over-18s to access at any time between 7am-10pm.
Animal Feeding
We have 12 pet sheep, Dora & Locket the Shetland ponies, 4 pygmy goats, lots of chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs, all waiting to be fed and given a cuddle. We meet at around 9am most days to feed the animals - often the highlight of the week.
Indoor Gamesroom
The indoor Gamesroom is well stocked with toys and books for younger guests as well as table tennis, table football and a small pool table for the older ones. There is also a DVD player and screen. We also have another tabletennis table undercover in the animal barn.
Fields on your doorstep
Bucks Farm is surrounded by fields which are accessible to our guests and their pets directly from the farm. In total the farm covers almost 60 acres so there is plenty of space to explore and let the dogs/children run.
Outside space to play
Each of our cottages has its own terrace or garden space for outside dining. And there are plenty of large areas for safe play and where you can still keep an eye on the kids from the comfort of your cottage.
EV Charging
Newly installed this year - we have two Electric Vehicle (EV) 7.4kW Charging units located in our car park for easy access. Simply use the QR code to access the App, hook up your universal Type 2 socket cable, start charging - and relax !
Overview
- Indoor swimming pool: play with our inflatables or bring your own, the consistent depth + warm water makes it fun for all ages. Available all year round for our cottage guests to use. Dedicated session times are allocated for each cottage each day. A schedule will be sent to you in advance of your arrival to help you plan ahead.
* Please note: Sorry - but swimming is NOT available on your morning of departure.
- Fully-equipped gym: over-18s are free to use our gym, also the infrared sauna.
- Walking in our grassed fields: directly from your door - for you and your pets
- Pet friendly: dogs welcome - leads only needed in the yard and fields with grazing livestock.
- Animal feeding: starts around 9am (except Mondays & Fridays) - everyone is welcome to help - or simply watch if they prefer.
- Play space outside & In: lots of space to play and explore - with large indoor Gamesroom, plus lots of outside games, toys and play equipment for all ages to keep everyone entertained.
- Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging: Easy access and simple App control - tick that box !
