We have plenty of activities at Bucks Farm for all the family, but we particularly like to cater for our younger guests.
Farm holidays can be incredibly beneficial for children, with so many adventures to try. At Bucks Farm, they can get involved as much or as little as they want. We feed the goats, sheep, ponies and chickens, hunt for freshly-laid eggs, and get some cuddle time with our rabbits and guinea pigs.
We all know the benefits of being outdoors, and especially being somewhere as peaceful and relaxed as Bucks Farm. There’s plenty of wildlife to be enjoyed in the countryside around the farm. You’ll see a variety of birds, rabbits and hares, insects and even the occasional deer in their natural habitats.
Your children can run free through most of our fields and see our farm animals enjoying their environment too.
We feed our animals most days at 9am, and we’d love you to join us. We have ten pet sheep, Dora and Locket our two miniature Shetland ponies, pygmy goats, lots of chickens, rabbits + guinea pigs, all waiting to be fed and cuddled. We’ll teach you about the different foods that each animal eats. For toddlers and preschool children, a farm is a whole world of new sights, sounds, smells! There are also a host of new textures to try. Have you ever felt real wool, held a rabbit or sat on a hay bale?
Even if the weather is bad, there’s plenty to do at Bucks Farm. The animals still need feeding, but there are also lots of indoor activities available - whether warming up in the swimming pool or living it up in the large playroom.
